Polyurethanex 2025 report on activity:

Due to a number of unique properties, polyurethanes (PU), which are one of the varieties of polymers, are widely used practically in all types of economic activity. That is why the issues of their manufacture in the volumes necessary for the economy of the Russian Federation, export, consumption, import, as well as consideration of related challenges and problems are very relevant today.

The 16th international specialized exhibition of polyurethane materials, technologies and equipment - Polyurethanex, organized by the Mir-Expo Exhibition Company, was held on March 25 - 27, 2025 at the Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow.

During the exhibition, the specialists held many negotiations with potential customers, established new business contacts and discussed new projects with representatives of various industries. It is worth noting that the specialized exhibitions become more effective every year.

In 2025, in terms of the number of occupied areas, the exhibition Polyurethanex increased by 15% compared to last year and amounted to more than 5,000 sq.m. 113 Russian and foreign manufacturers of raw materials and equipment for polyurethane production from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Turkey, China, the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Iran took part in the exhibition.

Within the exhibition the special section of ADHESIVES and SEALANTS was introduced having attracted significant attention of specialists of the industry: manufacturers and consumers of adhesive and sealing materials.

Among the regular exhibitors of the exhibition: ASD-Technika, Adhesiv Research and Production Company, Huntsman, Alcor TF, Avis Chemical, BIAPUR Trading, Walter Hemi, Vladipur NVP, Dow Izolan, Depsol Polymers, Flokser Kimya, Jinhua Chemistry, Jiangsu Maysta Chemical Co. The following companies took part in the exhibition for the first time: Amee Castor and Derivatives Ltd., Asgard, Beijing INTECH Co. Ltd., Building Equipment Factory Proton, Epufloor, Gofaru, Isource, Jiuzhou Tongda Chemical Trading (Beijing), Co. Ltd., Mixings, Ostec-Integra, Polimernye Resheniya, Sintez OKA-Polyurethane, SMART Polyurethane Technologies, Tianjin Qiyue New Material Co. Ltd., Zhengzhou SnowMountain Industrial Co. Ltd. and others.

 

At the Polyurethanex 2025 there presented the following brand-new materials and products:

Alcor Company, one of Russia's largest suppliers of polyurethane, specializing in the supply of all types of reactive and thermoplastic high—tech polyurethane systems and materials (PU/PU/TPU), presented the following range of products at its stand: quasi-MDI systems with variable hardness; adhesives providing a strong metal-PU bond; polyurethane adhesives for flexible packaging and furniture production; foamed polyurethanes for the production of automotive filters; TPU with improved physical and mechanical properties and a wide temperature range; TPU for the production of cables and fire hoses; Polyurethane cold-curing systems for the production of molds.

Amee Castor and Derivatives Ltd., a manufacturer of highly effective chemicals based on environmentally friendly chemicals, biodegradable materials, and products with low carbon dioxide emissions, for the first time presented biologically based polyols at the exhibition for the production of durable elastic polyurethane coatings, 2KPU and sealing compounds.

ASGARD, a Russian manufacturer of exclusive equipment for automating the mixing and dosing of polyurethane, silicone, and epoxy components, presented dosing machines, adhesive–bearing equipment, sealant dosing stations, machine-vision dosing robots, automated lines, and robotic complexes at its stand. The company's equipment is used to apply seals, pour adhesive sealant on the elements in the manufacture of explosion-proof and fireproof lighting devices.

Isource JSC is a vertically integrated company offering a range of solutions for industry, construction and logistics, offering a wide range of services — from diagnostics of the digital maturity of organizations to the comprehensive implementation of investment projects of any complexity and consulting, which allow clients to accelerate business processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency and reach a new level of profit. Isource JSC implements projects in 5 business areas: supplies of industrial goods, industrial automation, digital solutions, industrial and civil engineering, consulting.

TU Materials (TUM) specializes in the production of high-performance polyurethane materials that are used in areas such as construction, machinery and equipment manufacturing, paper and pulp production, oil and gas refining, transportation, and mining.


Jiangsu Hengguang New Material Co., Ltd. is a Chinese international company specializing in the production of polyurethane materials, which include a series of special auxiliary materials made of polyurethane, amine catalysts, silicone surfactants, special amines and isooctanoates, as well as tin products.

One of the leading manufacturers of polyurethane raw materials in China, the scientific and production company Shandong INOV Polyurethane Co., Ltd., specializes in the development and production of simple and complex polyester, polyurethane adhesives, systems for flexible PU foam, elastomers, etc. At the Polyurethanex exhibition, the company presented the following range of its products: polyester compounds and simple polyesters, used as polyurethane components, are used to produce elastic foam and rigid PU foam; elastomers are elastic materials used to produce rubber, sieves, shafts, rollers, etc.; thermoplastics (TPU) are polymer materials, which are used for the production of medical hoses or tubes, mobile phone cases, coatings for chips, etc.; hot-formed polyurethane adhesives - for rubber tiles, cold-formed adhesives and coatings of rubber chips and EPDM granules for treadmills; rigid polyurethane foams, which are used for the production of sandwich panels, pipeline insulation, spraying, etc.; elastic polyurethane foams based on complex and simple polyesters, from which foam rubber is produced; as well as components A+B in order to obtain an elastic molding of PU foam for the manufacture of upholstered seat elements and upholstered furniture.

Building Equipment Factory Proton is a leading Russian manufacturer of equipment for spraying polyurethane foam (PM) and polyurea, which was the first in Russia to develop and launch the production of high-pressure installations. Building Equipment Factory Proton presented the following equipment at its stand: installations for PU foam and polyurea; high-pressure hoses; sprayers and accessories. In 2025, Proton introduced a new development, the PROTON CS1 high—pressure sprayer for sprayed polyurethane foam and polyurea. The key advantages of the sprayer are: lightweight design, easy operation and easy maintenance. The Proton Construction Equipment Plant also presented new equipment for the first time at the Polyurethanex exhibition: a completely new PROTON E-X installation and an upgraded PROTON E-6x installation model.

Ipufloor, one of the world's leading suppliers of coatings for sports, recreation and industrial use, together with An Ji Jushu New Material Technology Co., ltd, a national high-tech company specializing in the production of components for European-quality running systems, presented at their stand a polyurethane binder that is widely used in the production of recycled sponge materials for insoles, rubber tiles, cork, sports fields, permeable road surfaces, etc.

The Russian company Mixings, specializing in the design, supply and maintenance of equipment for dosing and mixing of liquid and pasty materials, presented at the exhibition the following equipment for one- and two-component formulations, including polyurethanes, epoxy resins, silicones and adhesives: dosing and mixing plants for precise application of formulations; robotic dosing systems for production automation; static and dynamic mixers, cartridges and accessories.

One of the permanent exhibitors of the Polyurethanex exhibition, JSC Research Institute of Polymers, one of the leading industrial institutes in the country, whose pilot plant produces more than 1,500 brands of chemical products, presented the following adhesives and sealing materials at its stand: anaerobic sealants, cyanoacrylate adhesives, UV-curing adhesives, acrylic adhesives, as well as impregnations, lubricants, compounds; PVC products (plastics, plastisols, profiles, tubes). JSC Research Institute of Polymers is the only Russian developer of technologies for producing organic glasses for aviation, and in recent years, it has also been a leading manufacturer of aviation glass.

Ostek-Integra LLC, a division of the Ostek Group of Companies specializing in integrated solutions for the automated application of adhesives, compounds and sealants, offers high–tech dosing equipment from leading global manufacturers, as well as equipment of its own design and production. At its stand, the company presented comprehensive solutions for applying seamless seals using gasketing technology to improve quality and productivity.

The new exhibitor of the Polyurethanex exhibition, Polymer Solutions company, specializes in the supply of polymer raw materials for the production of products from thermosetting and thermoplastic polyurethanes (injection molded PU, PU, TPU), thermoplastic polyester elastomers (TPE), engineering plastics (PEEK, PA, PPS, etc.); machines, automatic production lines and auxiliary equipment for casting polyurethane hot-curing elastomers and polyurethane foam, equipment for the production (synthesis) of injection molded polyurethane systems and thermoplastic polyurethane, for casting polyamide, for coating artificial leather, for pouring epoxy resins, as well as equipment for the manufacture of EVA and PVC shoes.

Sintez OKA–Polyurethane company specializes in the production of simple polyesters, polyurethane systems and finished products made of polyurethane foam, which are used for the manufacture of thermal insulation materials, household and industrial refrigerators, insulated pipes, as well as in the production of molded products made of rigid polyurethane foam. Polyesters based on various initiators produced by the OKA–Polyurethane Synthesis are used in the production of polyurethane adhesives, mounting foams, urethane elastomers and binders, lubricants, elastic epoxy resins, as well as elastic foams of various hardness.

 

At the same time with Polyurethanex, there held the 17th International Specialized Exhibition COMPOSITE-EXPO (17th edition) allowed a wide range of specialists to get acquainted with innovation technologies of manufacturing and samples of finished products of composite materials for different branches of industry.

In 2025, the exhibition was attended by 160 companies from 6 countries (Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Turkey, China, the UAE and the Islamic Republic of Iran).

In 2025, on the space about 15000 sq. m. there situated 273 exhibitors, including 138 national (domestic) companies and 135 foreign ones from 6 countries.

About 7500 people visited the shows and 90% of them were specialists in different fields of industry. It witnesses growing demands of the Russian market to use modern innovation materials and technologies in different industries.
